TYPE O NEGATIVE Members To Guest On SIRIUS SATTELITE RADIO Tonight

October 10, 2006

TYPE O NEGATIVE's Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly will discuss their SEVENTH VOID project during an appearance on Sirius Sattelite Radio's Hard Attack channel (#27) tonight (Oct. 10) at 10:00 p.m. EST.

As previously reported, SEVENTH VOID will play its first-ever New York City show on Wednesday, October 11, headlining Contact High Night at The Delancey (the "stoner rock" night hosted by High Times columnist and Sirius Satellite Radio / Hard Attack DJ Bobby Black). SEVENTH VOID hits the stage at 10:00 p.m. Also performing will be BORGO PASS (9:00 p.m.) and GODZERO (11:00 p.m.). Doors at 7:00. Tickets are $10.

Rounded out by bassist Hank Hell (INHUMAN) and guitarist Matt Brown (ex-SUPERMASSIV),SEVENTH VOID contines TYPE O's tradition of slow, heavy riffs and existential lyrics, but with a slightly sludgier, "stonier" flavor.

SEVENTH VOID's upcoming album will be co-mixed by Vinnie Paul (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN). Brown is currently recording the group's yet-untitled debut, which is due in early 2007. Previews of three tracks — "Heaven Is Gone", "Shadow on Me" and "The End of Time" — can be heard at www.myspace.com/seventhvoid. The band recently opened two dates of a reunion tour by CARNIVORE, the band fronted by TYPE O NEGATIVE singer Pete Steele.
